That’s why we’ve created the Intercept Academy — a focused clinic designed to help players of all positions master the art of interception and become smarter, more confident competitors on court.

Why Intercepting?
Intercepting isn’t just a defensive skill; it’s a game-changer that can shift momentum, create scoring opportunities, and put your team in control. Learning to anticipate passes, close down space quickly, and time your moves perfectly gives players a distinct advantage — no matter where they play.

What You’ll Learn
Our Intercept Academy program focuses on:

• Reading the Play: Understanding cues, positioning, and game flow

• Closing Space Fast: Footwork drills and acceleration to get to the ball first

• Perfect Poach Timing: Knowing when to leave your player and make a move

• Safe Physicality: Contesting the ball without risking contact or penalties

• Attack After Intercept: Transitioning from defence to attack with confidence

Whether you’re a defender wanting to sharpen your defensive skills, a midcourter aiming to create turnovers, or an attacker looking to read the game better — this clinic is for you. Intercepting is a skill every player can benefit from.
